HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR
PERSONAL SPIRITUAL PICTURE

I use ONLY professional French, German and Australian made pastels pigments and Artist Quality professional art paper. These products are all non-toxic, unlike the pastels which come from China!

These high quality materials ensure your picture lasts for many years.

Pastel is pure pigment, the same pigment found in oil paints. It will last for years, as long as it does not get wet/damp, therefore it is important to protect your picture from the elements.

You may chose to have youir picture framed professionally. They will use the correct archival materials.

You can frame it yourself, ideally with a mount - the cardboard shape that pushes the picture backwards ensuring it doesn’t rub on the glass. Tape up the back of the picture with papertape to ensure dampness does not get in.

Never, ever - use FIXATIVE sprays!! or hairspray
This turns the picture brown with the chemicals.

You can have your picture laminated –
make sure the machine is very hot or you will get bubbles in the picture over time.
